Pam's Daily Wave...

Good Morning and Welcome to my Atlantic Life in Hatteras 😊

Just a quick one to start your day...

Seeing the tiny frog on my can of water, looking like he had pulled the ring to open it, simply made me smile....and I was reminded of how super important the "little" things in life are.

By definition, they're not grand, and more often than not, are completely unplanned, they just happen.

In a world that has become somewhat over-complicated, and, at times harsh and unfair, our lives often dictated to by hectic plans, schedules and demands, it's so easy to become "lost" in the turmoil - Having the ability to acknowledge and enjoy the simple, "little" things in our everyday lives, can make the hugest difference. These special moments can help put our lives back into perspective, enable us to find our true selves and value how precious our human lives truly are. I think I'm going to incorporate at least one of these "little" things that happen in my daily journal, capturing that tiny moment that simply made me smile....that brought me joy 💕

I found this piece of writing recently which illustrates beautifully my thoughts on the importance of the "little" things in life.

“Someone once told me to always live for the little things in life.

Live for 5am sunrises and 5pm sunsets where you’ll see colors in the sky that don’t usually belong.

Live for road trips and bike rides, with music in your ears and the wind in your hair.

Live for days when you’re surrounded by your favorite people who make you realize that the world is not a cold, harsh place.

Live for the little things, because they will make you realize that this is what life is about,

this is what it means to be alive.”

by A.Y.

Until Next Time...

Take care, Stay Safe and....try to notice the "little" things that make you smile today

Love and Hugs,
