Good Morning and Welcome to my Atlantic Life in Hatteras 😊
This past week has been a super busy and emotional one for us, with the loss of JB's Mom weighing heavy in our hearts. The ocean has been my solace, and whenever I've had the opportunity, I've gone to be with my thoughts at my magnificent Atlantic.
As those who follow my blog know, my most favorite time of the day is that magical time just before sunrise.....when the world appears to stand still, and all your hopes and dreams suddenly seem possible 💗
For the past couple of weeks, I haven't always been able to make it to my beach to watch the sunrise.....and with the inn getting busier for the summer season, it will definitely not always be possible, as we're generally up at 5am preparing for breakfast.
Already missing my "magical time", I decided to put together a video of some of those special moments that I have captured in words and photos, along with some calming music. So now, when I can't make it to my beach in the morning, I can take a few moments (3mins 53 secs to be exact 😉) to absorb the beauty, magic, and hope of that special time just before sunrise.
I thought I'd share it with you, so you too can enjoy...💕
It's that magical time...

The moon and stars still hanging in the sky
the world still sleeping
Barefoot, I silently walk to the shore
I find my special place...
I sit...
watch...
listen...
Time is suspended in that precious moment
I smile...
I'm truly present...
If I close my eyes I can hear each single wave
as it unfurls magnificently along the beach
Precious, beautiful, special...
This magical time....is my gift of love to myself
