A beautifully insightful quote from one of my favorite "philosophers", Winnie the Pooh (in reality, A.A. Milne, an incredible writer who was born in London, England in 1882), who always seems to have something wise to say for every special moment I can think of.
It's so easy to rush headlong into our day without considering for one single moment that you are exchanging a day of your life for this day....
This morning I decided to ponder on this, and began to think - if everyone in our world woke up every day to this thought, can you imagine the world we would live in? Okay, I'm being completely unrealistic, but it is worth considering just for a moment...a world of "thoughtful" people.
I'm sure there would still be those who wanted to leave their indelible mark of nastiness, hatred, and greed - those that want to be "remembered" in history for completely the wrong reasons. But, I'd like to think that for the most part, this would not be the case, and that the majority of the world's population would "use it for good". You have the choice - "You have been given this day to use as you will".... it's completely in your hands.
A while back in one of my blog posts, I asked those of you who read it, to make a point of doing something kind for someone else every day....even one thing can make a huge difference. You have no idea the positive effect you may have on someone's life.....whether it's to help them with a problem, keep them calm, show them love, or just to make them smile.
- Now, wouldn't that be something "good" that you would leave behind?
Tomorrow, when you wake up, please take a moment and consider "Winnie's" wise words...🥰
Before I go, I did want to post some pics from our schizophrenic weather patterns from the past few days. We've gone from sunbathing, to storm, to brilliant sunshine this morning - but a tad on the chilly side with a northerly wind 💨
