Pam's Daily Wave...

Good Morning and Welcome to Tuesday from my Atlantic Life in Hatteras 😊

(best read on blog as lots of pics!)

So, as you know I love a good chilly winter day - being cozy....snuggling up in the library lounge at the inn with my hot chocolate and a good book.....💗

But Friday and Saturday were wonderful sneak peaks of the Spring and Summer to come - the sun was out, the birds were soaring, and my dolphins were dancing.....what more can I say?

Well, okay, I'll say a little more...😎

On Saturday, after drinking our coffee on the front porch, JB and I loaded Bailey and Bodie into Jake and drove to Ramp 55, where we took a right and headed along to the end of the island.

The point where the sound meets the ocean is one of my most favorite places in Hatteras, its raw and wild beauty is simply stunning.

As you walk along the shoreline you can see the shifting sandbars just below the surface, and in the distance, you can hear the gentle humming of a ferry's engines - the critical connection to the island of Ocracoke.

The water just seems that little bit bluer and that little bit clearer at the end of the island - the beachy landscape reminiscent of a scene from "Robinson Crusoe".

Bailey loves JB...

Next stop was Ramp 49.....and on parking up to play with the pups, I noticed a huge number of birds just offshore, some were circling, whilst others were in the water - there must have been a large shoal of fish, as the whole scene was constantly moving slowly north along the beach. Further along on the leading edge of this incredible spectacle were my beautiful dolphins leading the way....🐬🐬🐬

And Bailey and Bodie had a blast....😁

When we got back to the inn, it was just too nice to work inside, so we got some much-needed yard work done....we're trying to clear a space for a vegetable garden.....

but Pumpkin decided it was just all too much work 😊

Today is back to being chilly....but stunningly beautiful 🥰

Until Next Time...

Take care, Stay Safe and....If things get a little hectic today, close your eyes, breathe and think of my Hatteras Beach

Love and Hugs,

Pam
